This DVD-R format disc contains a record of a two day martial arts seminar taught by Japan-resident Shihan Doug Wilson in Dublin, Ireland, on May 24th & 25th 2008.

Doug holds the rank of Judan Kugyo Happo Biken Menkyo Shihan (15th Dan) in the Bujinkan Dojo, is a regular translator for Hatsumi Sensei at the Hombu Dojo and Ayase Dojo in Tokyo and has also assisted in translating several of Hatsumi Sensei’s bestselling books on Budo Taijutsu into English.

The theme of this seminar was Bujinkan Dojo Ninpo Taijutsu and the concept of Kieru no kankaku (the feeling of disappearing) as well as how to use distancing, timing and angling to create effective martial arts techniques.

Over the course of the weekend, Doug covered material taken from Togakure Ryu Ninpo Taijutsu as well as techniques using the sword, rokushakubo and kyoketsu shoge from the Bujinkan Dojo’s happo bikenjutsu. There are also a number of ‘Question and Answer’ style sessions, during which Wilson Shihan fielded questions from seminar participants.
